Client Appreciation Night

Two years after founding Warkentin Group Private Wealth Management, Doug Warkentin welcomed his clients to his first annual Client Appreciation Night.

Held at the Manitoba Club on October 16, 2013, Doug Warkentin and his staff greeted over 150 guests – his clients – some who have been with him for more than 20 years.

Guests were treated to an evening of delicious food, presentations from inspired speakers Arvid Loewen and Patrick Bowen, President & CEO of One Captial Management, plus an opportunity to mingle with other guests.

Arvid Loewen is a renowned Winnipeg marathon cyclist and philanthropist who has become a friend and inspiration to Doug Warkentin. In 2011, Arvid set a Guiness World record for the fastest bicycle crossing of Canada and currently holds the record for cycling from Vancouver to Winnipeg! Arvid delivered an impassioned address about achieving one’s dreams, no matter what barriers may stand in your way, something Doug Warkentin has a strong passion for. All of the money raised by Arvid goes to MCF (Mully Children’s Family) in Kenya, Africa.

As the evening came to close, Doug Warkentin thanked his clients and speakers for a truly wonderful and inspirational evening. Doug Warkentin expressed gratitude to his clients for their continued trust and confidence with their financial security and assured them their financial plan would be right for them at every stage of their life.
